Here is a thread to share your thoughts about new controls.

Initially I can suggest these controls:

A control to show posts for a blog from specified date in last years. For example showing last year's post for today.
A detailed monthly archive for blog which shows the title of posts. Something like archive page of ScottW's blog.
A calendar control for blogs which shows the title of posts in each day.
An RSS control which shows the content of a specified feed. This was one of main requests from community members.

Here is the place to reply your thoughts and suggestions aboutr new custom controls that you like to be see in Community Server Extras.

Knowing how to write a custom Chameleon control for Community Server
Being familiar with team work and our source control
